A Global Tier One Main Contractor is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to be the project lead on a £300m tunnelling project in North Wales. Site based with one direct report Quality Engineer.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To carry out quality planning and produce a framework that the project can use to provide a quality product.
  • To ensure that quality and management system requirements are delivered.
  • To ensure that the works are as specified and that the required testing and commissioning has taken place.
  • To provide Governance support to site team as required e.g. GDPR, Data Protection and other compliance issues as required.
  • To manage the Assurance process to ensure that the project works can be properly certified as correct to the client.
  • To manage and drive Improvement activities to assist the project in meeting its goals.
  • To provide support and advice on Quality within the Context of the project including best practice and lessons learnt activity.
  • To manage the document control function (if required)

Person Specification:

  • Five years or more as a Quality Manager
  • Degree qualified in an engineering subject
  • Chartered Quality Manager (CQP)
  • Lead Auditor Qualification (IRCA)
