Examinations Access Arrangements Needs Assessor

Our Trust is looking to appoint an Exam Access Arrangements Needs Assessor within our private examinations centre.

You will be responsible for carrying out specialist exam access arrangement assessments to ensure learners who require it have the appropriate reasonable adjustments during any examinations taken within the Trust.

The right candidate will be able to carry out the following:

  • Assessment of Needs: Conduct detailed assessments to assess students who may require access arrangements for examinations, ensuring all assessments comply with JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) regulations.
  • Collating evidence and completing high quality EAA paperwork, eg: Form 8/9s
  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of all assessments, decisions, and communications related to access arrangements.
  • Coordination: Liaise with teachers, SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), and parents to gather necessary information and to inform them of the processes and decisions.
  • Implementation: Ensure that appropriate access arrangements are approved for external exam candidates.
  • Compliance: Stay updated with the latest JCQ regulations and ensure the school's practices comply with these standards.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and adherence to data protection regulations
