Deputy Manager - Children's Home

Your new company
We are looking to recruit a compassionate individual to join us as Deputy Manager who is equally dedicated to providing exceptional care and support for Children and Young People. We are looking for someone to join as Deputy Manager at a well-respected home in Swansea who will be working within a strong cohesive work force with a support network throughout the staff.

Your new role
As Deputy Manager of a 3/4-bed residential service, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Home Manager, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining the well-being of our residents. Collaborating closely with the team, you'll help provide high-quality care and maintain a nurturing environment.

What you'll need to succeed
In this role you will need at least 2 years of previous experience in residential care at a senior or managerial level, with strong communication and interpersonal skills that will directly be transferred to the development of the home, with the residents and staff throughout. You will need a Level 4 in Children or Level 3 in Residential Childcare / equivalent and work collaboratively within a team as someone who will be delegating staff members with roles and work and yourself relaying details and the advancement of the home with the Home Manager. You will also be required to have a full driving licence and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Email, and Calendar.
