In this role as a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, and providing administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department within a Not For Profit organisation in Leicestershire.

Description

  • Accurate processing and reconciliation of monthly payroll.
  • Maintenance of payroll processing system and records.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
  • Providing administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Resolving any payroll discrepancies as they arise.
  • Coordinating with the HR department for smooth payroll operations.
  • Assisting in audits and internal controls related to payroll.
  • Preparing payroll reports for management as needed.

Profile

A successful Payroll Officer should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and related legal requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
