Head of Finance, £70,000 FTE (part-time - 25 hours), Bournemouth

Purpose

As Head of Finance for a leading renewable energy SME, you'll report directly into the Finance Director and play a pivotal role in managing and supporting the day to day activities of the finance team, to ensure the timely and accurate production of MI across the business. Also in your role as Head of Finance you'll also support on a range of continuous improvement projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

As the Head of Finance your responsibilities will include:
Preparation of monthly MI pack including financial scheduled and KPIsDeveloping the monthly cashflow forecast modelBudgetary variance analysisWorking in close collaboration with department heads to prepare capex investment proposalsAnnual budget preparation and management of annual auditProject managing of digital transformation projects

Background

Head of Finance skills required:
ACCA or CIMA fully qualifiedAdvanced Excel knowledgeDemonstrable experience of leading and mentoring teamsKnowledge of working in a business with multiple and varied revenue streamsNatural ability work in an SME where priorities can often change
