We are working with an international law firm seeking a Client Billing Coordinator. 

 

You will be responsible for efficiently processing the Firm’s bills through Elite 3E and Paperless proforma applications. This role involves timely, organised, and accurate billing procedures.

 

Primary duties will include; 

- Generate drafts, bills, and credit notes using Elite 3E and Paperless, adhering to established procedures.

- Manage proforma production for monthly and transactional billing.

- Provide help desk support for fee-earners and secretaries in bill creation.

- Follow up on monthly bill production with fee earners.

- Ensure compliance with billing procedures and correct identification of Alternative Fee Arrangements on 3E.

- Distribute draft and final bills to relevant departments and maintain billing files.

- Produce reports on missing/pending time and process instructions accordingly.

- Verify and correct matter information as per firm procedures.

- Reconcile client charges and disbursements.

- Enhance billing processes and workflows.

- Support other firm members with billing, paperless proforma, and e-billing queries.

- Coordinate with the AML team to ensure regulatory compliance.

- Monitor and manage old matters for unbillable balances and file closures.

- Generate required reports from 3E or Excel.

- Handle other finance-related tasks as assigned.

 

What experience and skills are required?

- Proficient in 3E Accounting software.

- Skilled in Microsoft Office 365, especially Outlook and Excel.

- Knowledgeable in Solicitors Accounts Rules, Anti-Money Laundering Regulations, and VAT.

- Previous experience in a billing or accounting department with an automated system.

- Maintain confidentiality of firm and client information.

- Strong multitasking, pressure handling, and flexibility skills.

- High accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
