Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor to join our forward-thinking conveyancing firm as a Conveyancing Branch Manager. The successful candidate will be part of a small, friendly team in South Shields, but will work closely with staff across their other branches in the UK. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who is focused on delivering an excellent service to their clients and thrive working in a fast paced environment.

Day to day of the role:
Managing your own case load from instruction through to completion, including Freehold, Registered Sale, Purchase Transactions, and, subject to prior agreement, Leasehold, Transfers of equity, and transfers subject to existing mortgages.Providing technical support to Paralegals and managing capacity levels.Delivering reports and MI Support to the Head of Legal Practice in accordance with regulatory, internal, and external SLAs.Ensuring expressions of dissatisfaction are dealt with appropriately and within the agreed SLA.Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of communication with clients, mortgage brokers, and estate agents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified as a Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer.Excellent communication skills and the ability to set an example for the team.Independent decision-making skills relating to your area of responsibility.Thorough knowledge of the CLC Code of Conduct, SRA, Land Registry, and UKF requirements.Proficient IT skills and experience using a case management system.High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.Team player with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
