As a Cyber Product Owner you will, be responsible for creating and maintaing a fundamental understanding of the end-to-end process that the relevant producs underpin and the business goals, drivers and objectives that are driving such processes.  You will also be accountable for delivering Value from Cadent's IT/OT products, creating and implementing the product roadmaps in line with our technology strategy. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Be accountable for eliciting and understanding business needs and the changes required to meet such needs, ensuring that products remain fit for purpose and add value Version 1.0 December 2020
  • Be accountable for the Cyber Security roadmap strategies and their evolution, developing the scope and defining backlog items (epic/ features/ user stories) that guide the build activities
  • Be accountable for ensuring a robust and prioritised backlog of items to guide the work of the Agile Software Development teams and third-party vendors
  • Collaborate with all parties / stakeholders during the visioning, strategy and conceptual development of a product, working with agile iterative and incremental methods and approaches
  • Be accountable for the created product(s) delivering to the agreed outcomes and outputs
  • Be accountable for assessing value and prioritise stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with data product strategy.
Skills and Experience
  • Experience in Cyber Security, in particular analysing risks and working with the business to create treatment plans
  • Understanding of Cyber Security standards such as ISO27001, NCSC CAF (Cyber Assessment framework) or NIST.
  • Understanding and experience with Agile methodologies.
  • A technical, Cyber Security background or equivalent technical skills
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner
  • A technical IT or Cyber Security background, understanding the role Cyber Security plays in the wider business with an overall understanding of the technical and process driven security controls used to reduce risk. Version 1.0 December 2020 Understand the whole lifecycle of technology products. Extensive experience of working in agile teams, matrix managed multi-disciplinary technology teams. Deep understanding and experience with Agile methodologies
