What is the opportunity

As Project Manager you will be participating in a high profile 18-month business transformation programme. You will plan and manage activity within a key programme workstream that will ensure the safe and timely migration of a material cohort of personal lending customers onto a third party platform. You will create full delivery plans for the workstream and work with the business and Programme Team to execute against them. You will get the chance to work with a team of hard-working Business, programme and SME resources who will work together to deliver target business outcomes through this programme.

In this role you will:
  • Develop detailed workstream implementation plans including data preparation and mapping, transition design, design and build for migration event, implementation dress rehearsals, cut over event and trailing services.
  • Support the development of workstream budget and resourcing requirements and help mobilise the delivery team.
  • Extensive engagement and assurance of third party plans and resources.
  • Work with the business and Programme SMEs to ensure that workstream activities deliver the required business outcomes.
  • Manage workstream operational delivery ensuring key activities are to the appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the programme plan.
  • Collaborate with Group IT colleagues to ensure that all third party migration plans and proposed activity are optimal and aligned with BOI Group expectations.
  • Manage and ensure compliance of all proposed activity in accordance with the UK Change Framework.
  • Ensure oversight of workstream activity via reporting on progress on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure milestones, RAGs, paths to green and overall progress is efficiently and clearly tracked and messaged to the Programme Lead.
  • Effectively engage key senior stakeholders as required
  • Responsible for resolution of issues, initiating corrective action as appropriate and referring major issues upwards to the Central Programme Lead where required.
What will make you stand out?

Experience in medium to large projects /programme management within Financial Services, with specific experience in retail banking customer migration an advantage.

Have experience working in a complex organisation, and with multiple stakeholders and can deal with people at various levels of the organisation. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build strong and effective relationships.
