About the Role:

As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and developing internal group reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions. Additionally, you will oversee the development and production of external reporting, such as Office for National Statistics (ONS) returns and UK statutory accounts, and manage UK statutory audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely production and submission of financial reporting packs (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Leading improvements in financial reporting pack production.
  • Managing fixed asset accounting and reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Overseeing monthly intercompany reconciliation and agreement.
  • Accounting for new acquisitions and group structure changes.
  • Managing non-trading trial balances, including elimination GAAP and legacy entities.
  • Ensuring SOX control compliance during close processes.
  • Acting as the technical accounting expert for the finance department.
  • Managing the production and submission of Office for National Statistics returns.
  • Preparing UK statutory accounts.
  • Liaising with external auditors and managing UK statutory audits.
  • Providing ad hoc support to the finance department.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • ACA or ICAS qualification.
  • Superior technical accounting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Independent and initiative-driven work style.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Hands-on approach.
