We're looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our Nuclear Hinkley Point C team based in Bridgewater, Somerset.

Location: Bridgewater. Somerset

Contract: Permanent Full-Time

Responsibilities

As a Health & Safety Advisor, you'll be working within the Hinkley Point team, supporting them in the promotion, delivery and auditing of HS&E policies and programmes in the workplace and ensure that the project is legally compliant.

Your day to day will include:

  • Compilation and review of Health and Safety Management systems in line with accredited standard (ISO 45001).
  • Help lead the development of company H&S objectives, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Feed data into monthly and yearly HS&E performance statistics and reports.
  • Provide guidance and support on all HS&E related matters to the KBJV site team.
  • Support the KBVJ team in the promotion, delivery and auditing of HS&E policies and programmes in the workplace and ensure that the project is legally compliant.

What are we looking for?

This role of Health & Safety Advisor is great for you if:

  • Relevant H &S Related NVQ, IOSH and/or NEBOSH Certificate (preferably Construction) or equivalent.
  • Experience working as a SHE Advisor.
  • Accident/Investigation Qualification (e.g., Kelvin TOPSET, ROSPA or NEBOSH HSE Introduction to Incident Investigation)
  • Auditing to ISO45001 standard
