Sheridan Maine is excited to be recruiting a Finance Assistant on behalf of our client, a reputable practice based in Surrey. This practice is known for fostering a professional, happy environment where team members are treated like family and encouraged to grow and develop their careers.
 
Our client prides themselves on offering a supportive and dynamic workplace. As part of their small, client-focused team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality compliance work for a variety of clients.
 
Your responsibilities as the Finance Assistant will include:
  • Daily, weekly or monthly bookkeeping
  • Maintaining client records
  • Monthly reporting and management accounts
  • VAT returns
  • Statutory Accounts
  • Corporation Tax
  • Payroll
  • Personal Tax
  • Company Secretarial
  • Responding to queries
  • Assisting with other projects as required
 
To be considered for the role of Finance Assistant, you will require:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a practice environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Zero software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
