This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Payroller within the Accounting & Finance department of a leading company in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, ensuring compliance, and providing accurate financial information.

Description

  • Processing payroll on a timely and accurate basis
  • Handling payroll queries and resolving issues effectively
  • Ensuring compliance with all payroll legislation and company policies
  • Supporting the wider Accounting & Finance team including Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger functions.
  • Preparing and submitting payroll reports for management review
  • Maintaining confidentiality of payroll records and information
  • Assisting with audits and payroll reconciliations
  • Keeping abreast of current payroll tax requirements and relevant laws

Profile

A successful Payroller should have:

  • A strong background in payroll processing
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Sound understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations
  • Outstanding communication skills to handle queries and issues
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently when required
