We are currently seeking a Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join this welcoming team from September 2024 on an ongoing basis. The successful applicant will be supporting across the classroom, ensuring pupils are engaged with learning materials and able to access the curriculum at their own level. You will be working closely with the class teacher and responsible for providing details feedback on pupil progress. Additional responsibilities include working with reading groups and supporting small groups of pupils with intervention work.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a whole classroom within a bright and forward thinking primary environment. The school is located in the Oldbury area, within proximity to Langley Green, Smethwick, Bristnall Fieds. The expected salary range for this role is between £9.64- £15.08 per hour, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, for example Support Teaching and Learning. Applicants should be confident in supporting a whole classroom and able to ensure all pupils are given the attention needed to access curriculum intent.
