ABC Teachers are seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis conducting full class and 1:1 support to students with aditional needs within a nursery setting.  The school requires an experienced Teaching Assistant who works well with children with Autism and additional needs who is also comfortable with the personal care side thta comes with working in Nursery.
This role will be to commence after October half-term.
About the role:
Working on a 1:1 basis and general class support
Supporting students with ASD and associated communication needs as well as non-verbal students
Use a child-centred approach to provide the best support for student’s learning and development.
This Teaching Assistant role is a full-time, long-term role.

About you:
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:
Have previous experience working with nursery aged students with a range of special educational needs.
Suitable Level 3 qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning or EYFS
Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
Be able to work as part of a team and be confident dealing with occasional behavioural challenges
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
