MSX International is seeking a highly driven and passionate Network Engineer to join our busy team in Colchester. This role requires a proactive and creative individual who excels in a team environment and is capable of working under pressure.

The Role

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring network security, providing technical support, and participating in innovative network projects.  

 

In this role, the Network Engineer will:

  • Establishing and maintaining Networking infrastructure
  • Establishing and maintaining Network Management Software
  • Participate in securing the network
  • Installing and maintaining firewalls, establishing and maintaining company-wide access policies externally, internally and private connections to partners
  • Providing technical support and assistance to employees raised through ticketing systems
  • Performing analysis and collecting data to establish the potential for improvements within the network
  • Working with third-party providers to keep the networks running efficiently
  • Participate in network Projects to drive innovation
  • Adhere to ITIL principles

 

 

     About you

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is a strong team player with excellent communication skills and who is creative and proactive with willingnes to share ideas, as well as:

 

  • Has experience with Cisco, Cisco Meraki
  • Has experience with Azure, Fortigate, Fortimanager, Fortianalyzer
  • Previous experience with Linux, Windows Servers, VMware is and advantage
  • Capable of working under pressure
  • Open to working flexibly due to business needs out of hour
