We are looking for a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Lead Europe who is passionate, agile and collaborative to join our Talent team, based in our headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.

 

About the role

You will be working in a team that helps accelerate the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) cultural transformation at UCB and drives the success of core programs such as the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), Diversity Councils, and Business Diversity Champion teams. This role focuses on aligning stakeholders and defining actions to generate momentum and drive cultural change. Reporting directly to the Global Head of DE&I, you will be a critical partner to the business, collaborating closely with the global and US DE&I teams to impact our 4 Ps: People, Patients, Products, and Partners.

 

Who youâll work with

You will work with various employee-led communities, UCBâs leadership, and teams to ensure that DE&I programs are responsive to business needs. You will also work with the Talent Partner Teams to integrate DE&I across talent acquisition, learning & development, and employee engagement, and partner with external organizations supporting diverse communities.

 

What youâll do

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in organizational DEI best practices and trends.
  • Partner with employee-led communities to build trust and provide guidance.
  • Advise UCBâs leadership to embed DEI in programs and policies.
  • Support oversight of ERGs, Diversity Councils, and Diversity Champion groups.
  • Participate in road shows to educate the business on DEI initiatives.
  • Manage external partnerships for education and awareness.
  • Collaborate with Talent Teams to integrate DEI in talent processes.
  • Support the execution and evolution of the company-wide DEI strategy.â¦.

 

Interested? For this role weâre looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • 8+ years of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion experience with a multicountry scope.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful DE&I initiatives that drive cultural transformation.
  • Knowledge of DE&I best practices, laws, and industry trends.
  • Strong leadership and influence skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Program management skills with the ability to handle multiple complex projects and drive change.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and PowerPoint for presenting insights and results.
