What is the role we are looking for?
\r
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised individual with an aptitude for figures and data to join us as a Regional Stock Coordinator for our Central Region.
\r
Our Central Region is made up of 20 branches which encompasses Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Gloucestershire and surrounding areas as well as our National Distribution Centre based in Northampton. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be based within the region and will work as part of our company national Stock Team. Responsible for all areas of Stock in the region, this role is vital in providing the highest levels of stock analysis, reporting and insight for the business working closely with Branch Managers at all times.
\r
A critical and highly visible role within our business, you will be able to identify opportunities for operational improvement which lead to better performance and profit, particularly in areas of supply chain, stock holding, process, fulfilment levels, availability and stock accuracy.
\r
You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels around the company as well as with external suppliers. Using your knowledge to establish your credibility in the role, you will be confident in influencing and gaining clear understanding and commitment from others. This role can be worked from a variety of branches across our Region.
\r

Key responsibilities in this role will include:
\r
\rInfluencing colleagues on aims and objectives to achieve their buy in and support\rTriaging inbound Stock Management queries and requests from teams across the business\rReviewing sold orders assessing whether the orders are legitimate and whether they could be sourced elsewhere\rSupporting BMs with On Shelf Availability in sales areas and with CUBE space optimisation in warehouse areas\rWorking with colleagues reviewing stock sourcing and re-order levels to optimise stock efficiency in line with demand\rSupporting company promotions by ensuring that availability is maintained throughout the promotional period\rIdentifying where products should be sourced via the NDC, Hub or direct from the supplier\rEnsuring products, where applicable, are purchased via Bulk Purchases - increasing profitability for the business.\rSupporting the functions of the annual stocktake and the PI count system.\rPlanning and undertaking the phasing out of while stocks last/discontinued stock to optimise revenue\rCreating Stock Reports using MS Excel and our ERP Software (Kerridge K8) complete with analytics and narrative\rMonitoring IBT vehicle weights, implementing changes to ensure vehicles are not overweight.\rVisiting branches to provide training on Stock Management systems, processes and to support projects.\r\r
Who we are looking for to join the team:

\rStock Control experience working in a supply chain environment and in a role with a strong focus on data\rExperience in hands on control of stock ordering, product profile control, supplier liaison, promotional activity and demand forecasting\rStrong analytical skills with an orientation towards stock management and the ability to manipulate and analyse data\rProficient in MS Office suite, in particular the use of Excel to an advanced level, as well as exposure to ERP systems\rClear attention to detail with a methodical and logical approach to problem solving\rExcellent communication and organizational skills, able to work alone as well as part of a team\rHolding a Driving License is essential for this role, to be able to visit branches within the region and to travel to Head Office when required\r\r
