With a fantastic track record of launching the SEN careers of talented Graduates, this Croydon Primary School are looking to secure a SEN Teaching Assistant to commence a one-year Teaching Assistant placement starting in September 2024.

Working as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support the learning and social development of a variety of children aged between 4-11 who have been diagnosed with cognitive and neurological conditions (ASC, ADHD, Aspergers, Global Delay).

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will:
Have a minimum of a 2:1 degree within a relevant degree subject (Psychology/Criminology/SEN/Early Childhood Studies/Education Studies).Ideally have experience working with children with SEN (Autism, ADHD, Global Delay) on a 1:1 basis or in a whole class setting.Applicants who have already undertaken training or have experience in Makaton, PECS, or Team Teach are desirable although not essential.Be flexible, proactive and patient.Be able to communicate effectively within a team.Be committed to working full-time from September 2024-July 2025.The School:
