Job Description SummaryRole Purpose:
Key customer facing role managing a large portfolio of converter installations worldwide.
You will be a principal point of contact for after-sales activities & projects, have responsibility for the commercial management of day-to-day customer enquiries for aftersales service, technical matters, and upgrades.
Must have the ability to form effective working relationships with customers, internal and third-party suppliers to ensure that the Companyâs business and project objectives are achieved.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

                                                                                                   

  • Build robust relationships with customers and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction â including agreed KPIâs resulting from customer surveys
  • Maintain awareness of our Companyâs competition and maximise opportunities through providing better service and solutions
  • Manage Long Term Service Agreement contracts, to maximise cash flow and profit, and to ensure compliance with GE Commercial processes
  • Manage projects, maintenance programmes, etc., to ensure that contractual obligations are met
  • Identify risks and manage claims relating to late deliveries, installed base issues, etc.
  • Lead and co-ordinate a multi-disciplinary project team to deliver the project objectives in a structured and efficient manner
  • Ensure timely and accurate customer billing and on time cash collection
  • Carry out project reviews to control projects, check progress, manage cost, identify deviations from plan, detect risk and forecast future performance
  • Interface with GE participating units and external suppliers as needed
  • Attend / lead meetings with customers, internal groups and suppliers as required
  • Deputise for Wind Service Leader

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree in an engineering discipline  
  • Chartered status within a professionally recognised body 
  • Background in project management - ideally in power electronics
  • Strong IT skills: M.S. Office, M.S. Project, SAP & Servicemax
  • Experienced in:
    • commercial / contract management and managing project finances
    • business operations and management
    • contractual and legal aspects

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to achieve Security Clearance at least to âBasicâ level
  • Willing to travel and attend installations as required
