Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive legal research on IP matters and provide detailed reportsWork as a subject matter expert, this role will support our client’s lawyers with a variety of more complex technical work in their area of expertise as well as client relationship activityManage and maintain IP docketing systems to track deadlines and ensure timely submissionsPrepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, discovery materials, and correspondenceLiaise with clients, foreign associates, and government agencies regarding IP mattersSupport attorneys in IP litigation, including the organisation and management of case files, exhibits, and discovery materialsSupervise and quality check the work of more junior colleaguesSupport the Senior Specialist and the Delivery Manager to develop and implement new Intellectual Property work services and solutions

Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of experience as an IP Paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal departmentStrong understanding of patent and trademark laws, procedures, and regulationsProficiency in IP docketing software and legal research toolsExceptional organisational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentParalegal certification or relevant legal qualification preferred
