About the role

This is a temporary full-time role for 8 months - however flexibility in this will be considered We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role The base location for this role is Greggs Head Office - Q9 Newcastle Upon Tyne / remote working is also available
What you'll do

As a Technical Specification Officer - the main purpose of your role will be:

Ensure the accuracy, legality and compliance of all raw materials and finished product specifications with appropriate approvals. Ensure specifications are completed within agreed PLM timescales where information is provided. Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers and all internal stakeholders across the business in relation to specifications. Support the review, improvement and maintenance of the specification database, reporting any bugs/errors to the database/software provider. Provide specification data reports to all relevant parties across the business as required (e.g. specification statuses, nutrition, allergens, product claims, traceability, CSR etc). Complete objectives and KPIs - providing updates each reporting period/as required. Contribute and support to the implementation & testing of the new specification system via data migration.
