The Role:

Responsible for delivering and maintaining technical services for infrastructure servers, storage, and cloud, while providing 3rd line operational support in collaboration with Service Desk and IT teams. Lead the assessment, planning, and implementation of IT infrastructure changes and service improvements, ensuring alignment with business requirements and service acceptance criteria. Act as the subject matter expert on server, storage, and cloud infrastructure, handling complex technical issues and managing all core operating systems, including patching, upgrades, and maintenance. Efficiently resolve IT infrastructure-related incidents and service requests, providing timely updates to users and liaising with IT suppliers for issue resolution. Oversee systems monitoring tools, ensuring thresholds and alerts are set for proactive issue resolution and maintaining IT infrastructure support documentation. Work with project teams to review and impact assess new business requirements, contributing to technical aspects of change documentation such as impact assessments, implementation plans, and rollout plans. Ensure that capacity, availability, security, and service support requirements are considered in all IT infrastructure changes, implementing, testing, and monitoring changes in line with agreed plans. Lead technical disaster recovery activities and ensure Asset and Configuration Management principles are applied consistently to all infrastructure changes. About You:
