We are looking for someone who enjoys variation and has a flexible approach to their working environment. From cleaning a room, working to ensure our back of house areas are sparkling, or ensuring our public areas are clean and safe. You’ll be called upon to complete a wide variety of tasks and jobs within our hotel and it’s extremely important that you remain flexible and versatile around these. Although this isn’t a full guest facing role, you will still play a vital part in delivering a fantastic guest experience and it’s important to remain friendly approachable and the best version of you whenever you come in to contact with one of our guests.
Tasks will include :
Clean and tidy guest rooms and common areas to the highest standards.
Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock amenities. Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust. Report any maintenance issues or room damages promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations. Checking the quality of cleaning from team members. Assisting with completing rotas and ensure the correct level of cover is on the department. Completing staff reviews and training , ensuring all team members are operating at the correct standards.Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Maintain accurate records of room status, maintenance issues, and housekeeping activities.
Generate reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

To succeed in the role of housekeeper you will need the following qualities and skills.
Outstanding attention to detail Experience within a supervisory role, ideally a minimum of 1 year A can-do attitude Ability to work independently and efficiently. Willingness to uphold hotel cleanliness standards and exceed guest expectations. Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the housekeeping department of a hotel. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of industry-specific cleaning standards and practices.
