Group Summary

 

The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

About the Role

To effectively manage shift personnel and achieve planned output in line with key performance indicators for your department. Promote a team based work environment. Maintain accurate and timely administration for all relevant procedures.

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Comply with Health & Safety and Environmental Policies
  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949
  • Lead 5S 
  • Ensure internal and external quality focus 
  • Lead and participate in 8D’s, problem solving and risk management. Including root cause analysis and robust containment
  • Manage quality improvements through KPI’s
  • Manage Mould training, development versus potential, time and attendance, manage discipline, team ethics and all HR matters
  • Ensure team training requirements are tracked and fulfilled
  • Carry out annual appraisals and give regular feedback as required i.e. positive and constructive feedback to deliver on company standards of expectation

Your preferred qualifications
  • Leadership qualification
  • IOSH trained 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office / analytical skills
  • liaise with other functions and departments at all levels within the company. Managing People and processes and budgets within area of responsibility.
  • Previous production management experience
