Senior Commercial Manager

Produces monthly client application.
Approves invoices and issues IPC.
Drafts necessary technical and contractual corresponded.
Commercially managers design consultants and specialist fees.
Ensures site team acts with in commercial and legal procedures and agreements.
Communicates with clients and subcontractors.
Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work. (e.g. call handlers) Yes Technical Competencies- Skills to carry out the role Essential Desirable Chairs monthly project cost report and risk meetings. Presentation skills. Strong financial skills and commercial acumen. Negotiation skills. Understood project construction plan. Contract law savvy with the ability to mitigate risk and manage key clauses. Measurement to assess variations. Industry Competencies - Industry experience and/or qualifications Essential Desirable Networking with Clients /Contractor supply chain. Understand Mace service offer and promote the business to clients. Member of senior management and safety leadership teams. Understanding of current construction technology. Professional Competencies - Personal effectiveness e.g. stakeholder management, effective communicator Essential Desirable Working on a wide range of contracts. Exposure to diverse construct projects, contracts, commercial environments and tasks (or equivalent). Can cascade objectives and put in place effective tools to manage. Leadership Competencies - Self, others & business Essential Desirable Leading commercial manage team. Draws on leadership style to build high performing teams. Seeks opportunities to sell Mace service and win work. Strategic approach to management of projects. Motivate and develop team, mentoring junior employees. Understand client requirements and promote Mace. Coach & mentor less experienced colleagues. Further Qualifications, Certifications & Experience Essential Desirable Degree in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management (or equivalent).
