We’re looking for a Consumer Disputes Paralegal Handler to join us at our Shared Service Centre in Bradford.

Working as part of a team, primary responsibilities include dealing with complaints escalated to the Ofcom appointment mediation service on behalf of our client. Making both commercial and legal decisions to ensure matters are resolved in a timely manner.

What will you be doing?

Ability to work in a fast paced environment dealing with own portfolio of cases.

Able to effectively handle cases in a timely manner, completing tasks in accordance with strict deadlines.

Respond to information requests from internal and external stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner.

Works to achieve and deliver against the relevant KPI’s and SLA’s.

Reviews documentation; summarises and identifies key points, risks and issues; and questions and considers solutions. Where appropriate presents analysis to line manager.

Identifies internal and external contacts and liaises with them to gather information.

Keeps up to date with Ombudsman guidelines/processes and Ofcom regulations.

We tend to look for people with:

Proven track record of experience handling own cases in fast paced environment.

Relevant qualifications / good commercial awareness/ excellent customer service skills.

Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills in a high volume environment.

This role would suit someone with relevant customer service experience and/or a paralegal looking to gain wider experience
