The position

Working with a market leader in fuel (injection) low volume high value test equipment. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone with good knowledge of Engineering principals that would like to further their career in a Quality Engineering environment. This function will touch all areas of the business and for the right candidate could provide a springboard onto a Quality Manager position. We are looking for someone that is keen to learn, interested in continuous improvement, an eye for detail and a passionate about getting the job done. Training in quality disciplines will be provided.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Quality Manager this function will be responsible but not restricted to the following duties.

  • Inspection and reporting of incoming goods.
    • Generating and presentation of reports.
  • Inspection and sign-off of manufactured products.
  • Resolution of supplier and internal Quality issues
  • Internal and Supplier Audits
  • Logging and reporting to line mangers issues relating to all the above.
  • Support the maintenance of the Quality System (BS EN ISO 9001:2015)
  • Manage Calibration of business equipment
  • Support Engineering, Purchasing and Customer Support with investigations relating to Quality.
  • Communicate effectively with all areas of the business.

  • An engineering background an advantage.
  • Previous knowledge of a Quality Systems.
  • The ability to hear and listen.
  • Comfortable working on their own and part of a team.
