Job title: M&E Estimator

Type: Permanent

Location: Ashford, Kent (Hybrid working is available)

Salary: Dependant on experience

Role:

An opportunity has come available for a M&E Estimator to work on multiple Network Rail M&E station upgrade schemes on behalf of a specialist mechanical & electrical (M&E) rail contractor

To be considered for this role you will need to come from a mechanical and electrical background and have a detailed knowledge of the latest processes, materials, and costs.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Estimate costs of M&E projects taking into account any issues that may arise during delivery.
  • Materials enquiries
  • Issue sub-contract enquiries, including scope of works and attendance schedules
  • Distribute the relevant documentations are logged on system and sent to the correct teams (tender documents, client correspondence etc)
  • Create sub-contractor enquiry schedules.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience estimating costs of M&E schemes.
  • High knowledge of M&E systems
  • Rail or Construction M&E experience
