Markets Operations Belfast Overview:
Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business. We support a wide range of internal stakeholders alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience.
A role within Markets Operations means that you will have a global reach, in a supportive environment which will provide you with new experiences and development opportunities right here in Belfast's iconic Titanic Quarter.
You can play an important part in transforming and simplifying our operating model.

Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to kick start your career at Citi We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic team players, with a strong work ethic, to join our team.

What you'll do: Providing support to Front Office Sales and Trading desks Maintain and manage daily tasks relating to trades Perform analyses of discrepancies to help resolve trade issues or client queries Ensure assigned procedures are updated, completed and maintained across assigned processes Ask questions, challenge processes, and continue to learn What we'll need from you: Intermediate experience with Excel and Word, gained either in school or a corporate setting Efficient and effective with numerical tasks and transactions Proven success working in a team environment Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Successful candidates will attend a three week Market Operations Training Academy if required.
This aims to help you understand how Markets Operations work and where your role fits in in Citi while also providing you with all the tools needed to be the best you can be in your new role.
