Key Accounts Manager / Sales Engineer - Automotive Electronics Connectors.
Join a global electronics connector manufacturing company, providing cutting-edge solutions to the European automotive industry. This is initially a key accounts role but may lead to duties in external sales down the line.
Position Type:
Full-time - Monday to Friday day shift, Remote / Home-based. Expectations to travel to company site once / twice per month and travel to key customers sites when required.
Benefits:
- Home based working
- Bonus Eligible (10-20% per annum discretionary and subject to company/personal performance), payable bi-annually
- Car Allowance - £6k per annum
- Equipment Provided (Mobile phone/company car/laptop)
Key Accounts Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the European automotive industry.
- Act as a point of contact for assigned accounts, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and pursue avenues for growth.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding our connector solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities for expansion.
- Represent the company at service meetings.
Key Accounts Manager experience / skill set:
- Proven experience in a sales engineering or key accounts management role within the electronics industry.
- Strong technical background in electronics, with knowledge of connector technologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes and requirements is preferred.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel frequently and driving license is essential.
