Head of UK & International Payroll - 6 month FTC - Milton Keynes - Hybrid basis

Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to partner with a fast growing company, looking for a Head of UK & International Payroll to lead their team. You will be assisting with the UK & International payrolls across numerous countries, via inhouse and outsourced providers.

The Head of UK & International Payroll will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:

  • Responsible for leading a dedicated Payroll team ensuring the accuracy and the timely processing of the UK payroll and managing a third party payroll provider, to ensure the accurate and timely processing of international payrolls.
  • Strategically lead, motivate and manage a small payroll team
  • Preparation, review and approval of monthly payroll submissions in conjunction with the external payroll provider, ensuring the accurate processing to local in-country legislation.
  • Ensure service levels are met whilst maintaining strong relationships and an accurate payroll function.
  • Ensure Payroll Compliance at all times for the UK and work with third parties to ensure the same is delivered for International payrolls
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in relation to the continuous improvement of the function, to ensure they strive to deliver the best possible Payroll service both in the UK and internationally.

    Key Skills:

    • A strong and effective leader, with excellent communication and motivation skill
    • Have the ability to plan, organise and coordinate the service and teams, whilst ensuring that key targets are consistently delivered and statutory obligations are met
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Experience in Workday Payroll would be desirable
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience of liaising with and influencing senior stakeholders
