We are currently looking for mental health support workers to join us in our self directed support service in North Lanarkshire. (Cumbernauld, Airdrie, Coatbridge, Motherwell)

You will work as part of a team to provide practical and emotional support to people experiencing difficulties with their mental health in their own homes and local community.

We have opportunities including full time up to 35hrs per week and part time with hours negotiable. These posts (hourly rate £12.00) include weekend work on a rotational basis and some evening work. We also welcome applications from people looking for evening and or weekend work. No formal qualifications necessary, however you will be required to undertake a course of study provided by the Organisation to a minimum of SVQ 2

Good communication skills, a genuine interest in people and the ability to work positively as part of a team are essential qualities for these positions. We welcome applications from people who have personal experience of mental health difficulties.

Full driving licence and access to own transport are essential for these positions.
