Jagex are looking to hire a Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in providing key financial insights and guidance to the business. We are looking for someone to partner and collaborate with Senior Management and operational teams to drive performance improvements.

You will also get involved in ad hoc support for commercial/development projects as part of supporting business decision-making.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building effective working relationships with key stakeholders and collaborating with operational teams to understand key business drivers
  • Preparing monthly reporting packs including specific analysis to meet the organisation's needs as it continues to grow
  • Analysing financial performance, identifying trends and providing actionable insights to support decision making
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the business
  • Monitoring and controlling operational expenditure and identifying opportunities for cost reduction
  • Scenario planning / financial modelling for new or existing products and initiatives
  • Identifying, and seeking to mitigate, risks and opportunities


What you'll need:

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or similar role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insights and recommendations
  • Proficient in financial modelling and use of financial software and tools (eg Excel) to perform data manipulation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
