Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the bank’s natural resources finance portfolio.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients across a range of sub sectors, including metals, mining, oil & gas, renewable energy and agriculture. 
  • Originate and structure corporate lending transactions.
  • Manage client relationships and cross-sell where appropriate. 
  • Assess and manage credit risks associated with natural resources finance transactions.
  • Provide market insights and recommendations to senior management.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years in corporate banking with a strong understanding of the natural resources sector.
  • Proven track record in originating and structuring complex finance transactions.
  • Strong client relationship management skills and a robust professional network.
  • In-depth knowledge of Natural Resources. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and proficiency in financial modeling and credit risk assessment.
