About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Functional Test Analyst with hands-on experience in Test Automation to join our dynamic team. Role Responsibilities:

    • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure timely feedback on software quality.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance test automation coverage and efficiency.

  • Agile Collaboration:
    • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
    • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and efficient test execution in a fast-paced delivery environment.
    • Provide continuous feedback on the quality of the product and advocate for best practices in testing and quality assurance.

  • Defect Management:
    • Identify, log, and track defects in the defect management system, ensuring accurate documentation of issues and steps to reproduce.
    • Work with developers to resolve defects and validate fixes through regression testing.

  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in test automation and Agile testing.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on functional testing and test automation.
    • Proven experience in working within Agile development teams, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
    • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG).
    • Experience in working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and integrating automated tests into the build pipeline.

  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages used in test automation (e.g., Java, Python).
    • Familiarity with testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
    • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
