We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and self-motivated individual to provide a high level of  early years support to enable delivery of the programmes of work, supporting to achieve positive outcomes for children aged 0-5 years through undertaking outreach within communities, and by developing and delivering high quality universal and targeted activities and programmes, as part of an integrated Family Hub team.

About the role

You will have the opportunity to be part of providing an outreach support service for families with children from pre-birth to 5 years as part of our Family Help offer.

You will develop and maintain a varied and appropriate programme of early years support that is focused on enhancing health, wellbeing and development, while offering practical support to families and ensuring vulnerable and disadvantaged, at risk children are engaged in the right early years programme of activities for them within their community.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for some one with strong people skills, including facilitation and negotiation, and excellent communication skills, both written, face-to-face and over Teams.

We are looking for someone with knowledge and experience of early years methods and working with very young children, as well as experience of leading effective early years projects.

You will need the ability to prioritise and manage work effectively, and be comfortable working as part of a team and on your own initiative.

This role requires an enhanced DBS check with a Childrens Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Children.
