The Position: We’re looking for a Senior Student Support Coach

Requirements for the role:

  • Hold a relevant level 3 qualification.
  • Working successfully with disengaged and challenging young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
  • Literacy and numeracy to at least level 2 standard

Responsibilities for the role:

  • Plan and lead weekly coaching sessions with a small group of learners enhancing their personal, emotional and social skills through “emotion coaching” activities as personal development programme.  
  • Build and maintain positive communications with parents/carers, referral agencies, Schools, local authorities and specialist agencies
  • Provide daily monitoring of students to support the LSM, teaching and support staff in addressing and resolving issues related to behaviour, attendance and punctuality

The Location: The post is based at Wigston with frequent visits to other campuses as and when required (Mileage is paid).
