Main duties & responsibilities of a Machine Operative - Welding:
  • Loading & unloading work in progress on to the machine

  • Accurately using measuring equipment
  • Identifying good & bad welds
  • Completing quality checks
Essential Criteria for Machine Operative - Welding:
  • Mechanical aptitude & problem solving nature
  • Meticulous eye for detail & ability to work in line with quality standards
  • Ability to read & accurately interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong numeracy & literacy skills
  • Weld knowledge is desirable
