About therole

We require an experienced andqualified teacher who has the ability to make a significantcontribution to our school. This role is based in ourSecondary Site, teaching classes aged between 11 and 19, and thesuccesful candidate will be teaching PE and Maths classes. Weare happy to accept applications from candidates with QTS status,whether their experience is in Primary or SecondaryTeaching.

You will take a creative approachto teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuringdelivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupils'achievement and ability to develop. The pupils may displaysome challenging behaviour due to their different needs, so staffare required to have experience.

Within thisrole, you will teach pupils in a fun and engaging way. You willalso work with the support staff within the classroom to ensurethat each pupil is getting the support they require, but also toensure the smooth running of sessions and allow each pupil to havea positive learning environment. You will provide feedback to SLT,parents and carers.

For this role, youshould:
Have previous experienceteaching in an SEN school or extensive experience working withpupils with complex additional needs.Haveexperience teaching and be able to plan fun and engagingsessions.Have a UK QTS orQTLS.

At Hillingdon Manor, we providespecialist education for 185 pupils, aged between 3.5 and 19.Located across two sites. Our Secondary School supports around125 pupils. Our pupils are taught in smaller class sizes and allpupils work towards a variety of qualifications dependent on theirneeds and ability.
