Job Description
Bank is seeking a Senior Counsel to handle legal matters related to global markets transactions, derivatives, structured products and loan documentation. Reports to Deputy GC.
Responsibilities:
The Successful Applicant
JD from top US law schoolNY State Bar AdmissionAt least 5-8+ years of broad-based professional U.S. legal experience gained at a top law firm and in-house with with an emphasis on equity prime brokerage transactionsStrong experience with all documentation matters, including experience drafting and negotiating prime brokerage agreements, ISDA, MCAs, etc.Strong knowledge of US securities laws, including the Securities Act, the Exchange Act, FINRA broker-dealer rules, CFTC rules and regulations, and insolvency law frameworksExperience with financial & commodities futures and cleared OTC derivatives Excellent communication skills
