Angus, United Kingdom Adecco Full time

We are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor for our client's service centre in Dundee.

If you have previous experience working within a car or commercial vehicle workshop service desk and possess a good understanding of the processes involved, then this opportunity could be perfect for you. While knowledge of our clients Data Management System would be an advantage, it is not essential as full training will be provided.

As a Service Advisor, your main responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service. Whether it's dealing with enquiries in person or over the phone, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction. Your tasks will include booking vehicles into the workshop and mobile service vans, explaining the repair process when necessary, and obtaining order numbers from customers or lease companies. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to sell additional products and services so will be required to collate data and provide customer quotes.

To succeed in this role, you will need exceptional communication and customer service skills. Being a team player with great interpersonal skills is also important. In a fast-paced working environment, your ability to stay organised and multitask will be crucial. Proficiency in IT systems is a must, and a valid driver's licence is preferred.

Our client offers an attractive remuneration package, including a competitive hourly rate ranging from 12.21 to 14.48. In addition, you will enjoy a range of perks, such as 30 days of holidays per annum, an extra holiday on your birthday (after a year of service), an enhanced Company Pension, a Company Life insurance policy, Health and Wellbeing support, a Mortgage advice service, staff discount, and a referral programme.

The shift rota for this position includes Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:30, with the added requirement of every other Saturday from 08:00 to 12:00 (paid at time and a half). With our client, you will be joining a team of professionals who are passionate about their work and dedicated to providing the best service to their customers.

If you have previous experience in a service advisor or similar role and believe you have what it takes to excel in this position, we strongly encourage you to apply. Take the leap and seize this fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and thriving organisation.

Note: This is a temporary-to-permanent position, offering the chance to secure a long-term role with our client.
