Summary
We have an opportunity for a Welcome & Service Assistant to join our team at Kedleston Hall. You'll play a core part in giving information, promoting our fundraising initiatives, providing fantastic customer service as part of a passionate team, answering questions and ensuring everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.
Salary: £11.64 per hour
Contract duration: Permanent
Hours/working pattern: This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. You'll work 1000 hours over the duration of the contract, and on average, you'll work 3 days per week (sometimes 4 days in peak season) which will often include a weekend day. Flexibility is essential to support with covering holidays.
For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.

What you'll be doing
Day to day, you'll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You'll be on hand answering queries and listening to what our visitors need so you can share the right information.
As part of the Visitor Experience team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the presentation of the welcome area is spot on, engaging our visitors, making them feel welcome and keeping all areas clean and tidy.
You'll promote the amazing work we do with our visitors and what their money is funding, highlighting the important role our members play in supporting the Trust, as well as the benefits of membership. You'll work flexibly across all areas of the operation, providing support as needed. You'll also be working with volunteers who provide extra support to the team.
