Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Responsible for the creation & visualization of data led reports across the defined North Strategic accounts – a selection of wholesale retailers with the objective of accelerating sell-out & market share across both digital & physical channels
  • Through these reports, help simplify the task of actionable insight extraction for the Business Insights Managers, Sales & Digital Partner Commerce (DPC) teams, with the primary objective of maximizing the sell-in & sell-out of adidas products respectively

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all topics relating to data reporting for the defined North Strategic account(s) for stakeholders locally and in Europe.
  • Pursuing excellence in accuracy & automation of data reporting, you will continuously look to improve how we present various data points to key internal business stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Insights Managers, ensuring that your collation of relevant data sets is structured in an actionable manner to serve their intended purpose
  • Inform key business stakeholders through regular progress updates across topics including channel splits, market shares, sell-out & focuses across geographies, categories, genders, product types, price points, colourways etc.
  • Ensure that the most accurate data points are shared with key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with various other European analytics teams to drive synergies across the respective business units and accelerate process improvements
  • Act as the respective account expert when it comes to data reporting, consistently reviewing how we operate as a wider team, proactively sharing your observations & findings
  • Drive synergies from multiple data sources, originating both directly from the respective account’s sources – brining the data sets together to extract value

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced Excel skills and high proficiency in spreadsheet analysis
  • Knowledge of data processing & visualisation tools (e.g. Alteryx, PowerBi, SQL, Google Analytics, Microstrategy,)
  • Strong hands-on technical expertise amongst leading industry data software
  • Solution-oriented with a focus on achieving results
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work under pressure
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to work in deadline driven environment
  • Comfortable with working in an international environment
  • Fluent English is necessary; another European language would be beneficial.

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree is preferred
  • 2 - 3 years of working experience in an international environment
  • Professional experience in Digital Analytics, Business Analytics or equivalent
  • Experience in building automated reports from large data sets
  • Experience working with metrics & their inter-connected nature
