As a Functional Assessor , you will: Conduct assessments via telephone or video consultations to understand how a person’s health condition or disability affects their daily life. Produce factual, evidence-based medical reports that help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine eligibility for disability benefits. Complete assessments typically last around 45 minutes, with comprehensive training and ongoing support provided to ensure your success. GMC-registered Doctor with a minimum of 2 years’ post-registration experience (FY2 or above) . Strong communication and report-writing skills . Broad medical knowledge, with experience managing a range of physical and mental health conditions .
