Location: Stourport-on-Severn Hours: 07:00 - 16:00 Friday 07:00 - Early Finish Pay: £13.11 p/hr Contract: Temp - Perm Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Production Fabricator based in Stourport. This role is Temporary to Permanent and offers the potential to progress within the company. As a key member of the Welding Team, you will support your colleagues and be responsible for the manufacture of fabrications to drawings or customer requirements. The Duties of a Production Fabricator: Responsible for all Fabrication and Welding Masks Completion of a wide range of fabrications to meet powder coating schedules Advise Section Leader of defective tooling that prevent production targets being achieved. Ensuring tooling, jigs and fixtures are fit for purpose and meet production requirements Responsibilities as listed in Quality Control Manual and procedures to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 requirements. Any other reasonable duties in the welding area. Assistance in working for other departments when necessary. The Requirements of a Production Fabricator: Qualified MIG Welder Ability to read technical drawings although training will be provided for the right candidate IT literate Good attention to detail and excellent communication skills Adhere to Health & Safety Policy.
