Sheridan Maine is delighted to partner with our esteemed client, a leading organisation based in central London, seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll professional to join their team as a Senior Payroll Analyst.

 
As the Senior Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for effective delivery of monthly payroll across the EMEA region via outsourced payroll providers. This hands-on role requires an in-depth knowledge of payroll and benefits across various European locations.

Your responsibilities as the Senior Payroll Analyst will include:
  • Payroll Management: Ensure timely, accurate, and effective delivery of the outsourced monthly EMEA payroll process.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve payroll-related issues and queries from employees and stakeholders.
  • Data Preparation: Compile payroll inputs, enter data into Excel templates, organise shared drive folders, and verify HR data and benefit forms for accuracy and completeness.
  • Audit and Reconciliation: Perform detailed audit reconciliations of payroll vendor output reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate tax declarations, withholding tax, social contributions, and remittances.
  • Year-End Tasks: Assist with year-end/begin tasks such as reviewing and reconciling tax forms, equity, CRD, and bonus payments.
  • Audit Support: Assist with regulatory, statutory, and internal/external audits.

To be considered for the role of Senior Payroll Analyst, you will require:
  • Experience: Extensive experience in payroll management, specifically within the EMEA region.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of European payroll laws and regulations.
  • Analytical Skills: Proactive analytical capabilities to troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with global teams.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with payroll software and tools, along with a high proficiency in Excel.
