The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Digital Team. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Delivery Manager to support the delivery of our digital roadmap. You’ll be working on designing and implementing new online services to improve the customer experience for our staff and users.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for using technology to solve problems, who can lead and collaborate with our digital teams to drive performance and ensure we achieve our goals. This role will have a huge, direct impact in the local community.

Digital and IT Service

The Digital and IT service has big ambitions for change – we’re modernising the services we deliver, as well as the way we deliver them. We’re expanding our Digital Team and are looking for people to help us shape our future.

As a Senior Delivery Manager, you’ll be:

  • An advocate for user-centred design, ensuring the delivery of clear and continuous value that positively impacts users.
  • Key in supporting our digital teams to achieve their goals and ensuring high performance from multidisciplinary teams, including internal staff and third-party delivery partners.
  • Integral to shaping effective ways of working that enhance team productivity and help maintain motivation.
  • Confident in delivering complex IT and digital services, removing barriers for the team, and both planning at a higher level and delving into details when needed.
  • Experimenting with ideas and techniques that foster high performance, interpreting them for our context, and adapting them based on measurable outcomes.

This is a full-time (37 hours) position on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is based at our main office location.
