*The Therapeutic Residential Children's Support Workers will be responsible for:*

* Supporting your people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and young people experiencing mental health problems.
* Helping promote a stimulating, caring and culturally appropriate environment for the young people.
* Providing practical and emotional support to young people under the guidance of the Management team.
* Work closely with young people, their families and professionals according to programmes and plans that have been implemented.
* Assist the individual to live a full and meaningful life that develops their potential and promotes their rights.
We provide full training for applicants who have no previous experience and are interested in care as a career whether it is after college or before retirement.

*The successful Therapeutic Residential Children's Support Workers will meet the following criteria:*

* Hold a full UK driving licence for a manual vehicle.
* Have a Diploma/NVQ3 in Caring for Children and Young People or commitment to work towards this qualification.
* Have a degree in psychology, criminology, mental health, nursing or similar ideally but not essential.
5 hour shifts, including weekends and bank holidays. Five of these shifts are completed every 2 weeks.
