We are currently searching for a motivated & career driven Glaucoma Optometrist to join this well-respected & well-developed Specialist Eye Clinic based in Wisbech, improving the quality of peoples vision for the last 19 years, you’ll be working with highly trained & highly skilled Ophthalmologists in a multi-disciplinary team, delivering an excellent patient experience, this clinic provides a range of services from YAG Laser Treatment, Glaucoma, Cataract, General Ophthalmology & Oculoplastic.

This exciting new opportunity to join this growing & developing business working with a highly skilled, diverse, welcoming team has arisen due to service demand, you will have access to state of the art technologies, attending to private and NHS referred patients, you will have access to train and develop your skills through a well-established fully-funded training & development platform.

We are seeking someone that is enthusiastic and passionate with a can-do attitude, someone that has a strong interest in Glaucoma that will put the patients at the heart of everything they do, you will have a great patient interaction and care, you will be career driven, a motivated Individual with an exceptional team player mentality.

Requirements

  • GOC Registered.
  • Minimum UK 3 Years Post Registration Experience
  • Higher Qualifications in Glaucoma
  • SLT (Desirable) Can Provide Training for this.

Responsibilities

  • Providing Essential and Advanced Eye Examinations for our patients.
  • General Outpatient
  • Pre-operative & post-operative glaucoma consultations
  • Providing clinical support to our ophthalmologists.
  • Being part of our multi-disciplinary YAG capsulotomy service, delivering these procedures.
  • Pre & post-operative Cataract & Refractive consultations.
